We had a wonderful time at Wollombi Farm. The spacious accommodation is modern and comfortable and boasts a pool and spa. The rural setting is truly invigorating with its distant views over farmland and native bush. Historic Wollombi township is a pleasure to explore. We would highly recommend a stay at Wollombi Farm to anyone wanting to get away from the city to unwind and relax in a delightful rustic atmosphere - yet only 100 km from Hornsby.

I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for having us at Woodcutter’s Cottage and for the extended departure time which was very much appreciated. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything and more we needed for a great weekend away. It was lovely to sit in front of the fire playing games, to cook in the massive kitchen and enjoy breakfast outside in the sun. We hope you had a nice weekend as well and look forward to booking again in the future.

Beautiful spot for a couple of nights. Stayed at Dilly Dally for a couple of nights midweek and had a wonderful time. Very well equipped home with all mod cons while still keeping a quirky country feel. It was very chilly overnight but we were toasty warm with the log fire and super big spa bath. Kids kept amused by day with lots of space to run around, dart board and an outdoor chess set and by night with Foxtel and a very well stocked movie shelf. Quite close to owners house which did not bother us as empty at the time and cottage privacy maintained due to private outlook over valley, however if you are wanting seclusion you may want to check first. Manager very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Can highly recommend property for a relaxing break so close to Sydney.

My family of 5 recently stayed at Pepper Tree Cottage and I must say we were sad to leave. The fresh country air, peaceful surroundings and the opportunity to bond as a family was very pleasant. The house itself is beautiful but its complete with the outstanding views and tranquility. Each room had its own ensuite so everyone had their own space which I thought was brilliant, the rooms were generous in size, we loved the bifold doors and the whole house was spacious just like its exterior. We all enjoyed swimming in the pool, relaxing in the cabana, lounging on the daybeds with a view, breakfast on the deck, Interacting with the cows, Sharing stories around the fire pit and I absolutely loved sitting in the room on the window seat reading my book. I would also like to thank Peter and Skye for their assistance in making our family getaway a memorable one and that includes prior/during/after, we definitely will be going back!! Thank you!

This was my third visit to the barn - this time with a group of friends rather than family. As always, it was the perfect getaway. Simple but with nothing missing. I've just converted 12 others to the beauty of this little gem nestled behind Wollombi. Shhh don't tell anyone though!

Just a note to thank you both for helping to make last weekend a special time for my family. You added that personal touch to her wedding and the girls loved having lots of space as they prepared for the big event....and what an event!!! Just fabulous, we will be talking about it and telling tales of family misadventures for years to come. Wollombi Farm was the best place for myself and friends to get together and yet not fall over each other. I would like to express how much we, eleven loud and slightly insane women, enjoyed our stay at your beautiful holiday house. You and your wife went to a lot of trouble to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and we have been singing your praises ever since we returned.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house has an excellent kitchen for cooking, an open fire perfect for cold nights and verry comfortable beds. There is more than enough space for 6 people and the little town of Wollombi is a short walk away.

Beautiful Property, Wonderful Experience! Five friends and I stayed at Pepper Tree Cottage over the Easter 2104 long weekend, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The property is just as fantastic as the photos demonstrate: a wonderful combination of quaint cottage style and clean modern comfort. Each of the three bedrooms in the main cottage had their own bathroom, the kitchen was well equipped, clean and modern, the decking overlooking the beautiful pool and surrounding fields and hills was just perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had just about everything we needed and more. Peter, who let us into the Cottage and gave us a tour, was very friendly. Wollombi itself is just lovely: small town with some nice cafes and restaurants, a couple of cellar doors in the town itself, and some great local wineries where we loved purchasing a variety of wines and liquers to enjoy of an evening. I cannot recommend this property highly enough: everything we needed, very comfortable and a very reasonable price.

Beautiful house with an amazing outlook. The bedrooms and en suites were very luxurious, with quality linen etc. Great size rooms, well equipped kitchen and quality and comfortable furniture everywhere. The seven of us, a group of friends, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and tried out the woodfire pizza oven supplied. Had lots of fun with our "Christmas in July" on the second night. Enjoyed drinks on the deck during the day and around the fire pit at night. Looking forward to returning in the summer when the new pool is complete!

We were so thrilled about how warm the cottage was, particularly with a small child on board. We cooked some great meals and puddings and had a great and relaxing few days.

Highly recommended! What an amazing property. We stayed as a family group (5 adults and 4 young kids) over the long weekend and loved it. We could have fit 8 adults comfortably. Plenty of space inside and out for the kids to run around. Stunning views, great outdoor areas to eat and a huge decking to sit at when the weather is poor. The pictures didn't capture the expanse of this property. It feels as though there is no one else around yet only 5mins from the centre of Wollombi.
